Techcrunch posted a nice, but short, overview of web 2.0 social music sites on their website which introduces eight social music sites. Some of them are pretty famous, like Pandora or Finetunes, and some are lesser known and probably worth a look if you do not know them. I’m thinking of sites like iLike or MyStrands - I honestly never heard of them before.

I will write my own reviews of at least some of them here at DRM Alt in the coming weeks. It is worth reading the comments on the techcrunch blog because some of the commentators mention other music sites that look pretty interesting, too.
